Hi.....does anyone have any information on Gooderham and Worts tokens or pocker chips? (see photos). I have a couple here, and I'm trying to figure out if they were used for advertising or gambling or for other promotional purposes. If anyone can shed some light on this for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
JS

G & W were part of the Hiram Walker group [Canadian Club] so, unless you get a definitive answer] I'd recommend you check with the Canadian Club museum in Windsor as they may know
Thanks blenderm! I'll also try to reach out on my end to the Canadian Club Brand Heritage Center, Windsor and see if I can get more info. Thanks SEASICKSEAGULL for posting pictures :D

I think these were promoted and used as an advertising or promotional gimmick after proabition was over. I have a Wiser's coin/token from the same period.
