Hi there, I am new to this forum so hello to everyone.

I am busy clearing out my attic and have found two whisky metal dogs. My great grandfather was a publican in the late 1800's and they were from his pub.

Does anyone know the value of them, please?

Have a great day !!!

As no-one's answered you Mollyann I'd recommend that you have a search through eBay, if you're a member there's a facility to search in past auctions as well. If you check the link there was a pair sold a couple of days ago

I have black & white whisky model dogs on our gate post. Unfortunately the black Scottie has been damaged. Tha dog was made of alloy and about 9 inches high. Would you be interested in selling.

I am looking for the black scottie dog from the original metal pair of dogs probly originally made in the thirty's. I still have the white dog but the black scottie became damaged. It was about 8 inches high.

I have the two metal dogs, which I assume are early Buchanan adverts for Black and White. If it is any help at all, I bought them about 15 years ago in a junk shop in Norfolk for about 50 english pounds. The shop owner didn't know what they were though, and thought they were just ornaments.

I am trying to find a history of the black and white dog figures, with no success at all - anybody know of one? I have a gradually increasing collection of this ephemera and would like to know more about it.

If you can post photos of your B&W dogs, we can see if we can get more info about them for you.
