Dear Sir's;
I have recived a bottle of "The ABBOT'S CHOICE" Scotch Whisky which I have not heard of before.
Can you please tell me if this is an old whisky and is it still in production today. I have been told that there is not much of this whisky around any more, so if that the case I would not like to open a rare bottle of whisky .

Hope to hear from you soon

A Jones.

From what I can tell the whisky is no longer in production. Seems to have been popular around 50 years ago. I have seen prices from $200 (US) for the standard bottle to $400 (US) for the monk statue. It was sold mostly in Europe and was popular in Japan where it had a Japanese label. Here are a couple pictures of them. If I were you I would light a couple Cuban cigars and pour it with special friends. I guess it could always keep for when the grandkids grow up some day. Why not just enjot it now!
