I have a bottle of White Label Dewar's Blended Scotch Whisky, believed to be from the late 1960's. It is unopened as the label covering the top in unbroken. The label number is 576363365 and the other side of the label says NY-I-68. It was kept in a nice dark closet, 86.8 proof. Any ideass?

While this is certainly not an official valuation - we hear it will be less than £100 (which is less than approx $168 USD). Also, really not clear on the date. The "68" you see on the tax stamp is the federal number of the importer and doesn't relate to date. (not sure if you thought this might have been the date). For an official valuation, contact mctears.com or bonhams.com Please keep us posted on your findings.

i found this bottle of dewars at my grandmothers when we were cleaning out her house. looking for a bit of info/value.

the excise stamp says indiana $.20. the label looks like it could be hand written.

i have no idea about the age. the top looks like covered in foil of some kind.

any suggestions about what to do/where to go for some info?

Please help!
